Very interesting post Malinda! The position of Child Care Aware of Washington seems to be a very interesting job for an educator. This will include involving the parents and also the children and their welfare. Furthermore, you will have a supporting team, that hopefully will help you with the budget planning. I can truly see you working at any of these positions. Good Luck

The Muckleshoot Indian Tribe organization was very interesting to read about. I was unaware that tribes had their own Department of Education. I commend them for integrating their own culture, history and language into their education program. What a wonderful way to preserve traditions and culture. It would be amazing to be a part of that!
ReplyDeleteThe organizations you have chosen sounds like they would be ideal for your community of practice. I think it is important for professionals to partner with organizations that not only benefits them professionally but also benefits families as well.
ReplyDeleteGreat Post! Very interested within the tribal organization. Having an organization that can reach a culture is great, being that it provides support along with informative information. Pre-K Specialist is also a great consideration in terms of the early childhood field with early development.

You provided a varied set of organizations as well as open positions. As I searched for my own blog post I didn't think of the other positions related to early childhood. It would be interesting to be a part of early childhood that makes policy or budgets, such as the finance director you posted.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this post. I have never heard of these organization and truly enjoyed learning about them. The mission statements are like the window to the organization. It gives you a brief glimpse into what the organization is truly about.
ReplyDeleteMalinda your post was well put together. I would like to look into Muckleshoot Indian Tribe. That you for a great post.
